New look Girling website goes live
Following a dynamic image makeover to refresh and update its brand, Girling, one of the world’s most iconic braking brands has announced that its bold and modern, new-look website is now live.
Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian, the new-look website marries modern, new photography with images that capture the spirit and achievements of Girling’s past; illustrating how the brand has developed over the 90 years it has been a household name.
“The Girling name has been synonymous with OE quality braking parts since 1925,” explained Kevin Price, UK marketing manager, Girling.
“The idea behind the refreshed and updated website is to remind customers of its heritage, pedigree and impressive range. The imagery is centred on the emotive strapline: ‘The power to stop is everything’.
“It shows how we learned how to deal with the braking demands of the modern day vehicle by perfecting our art on the cars of the past. For example, the 1957 Triumph TR3 was the first mass-produced sports car to leave the factory with standard front disc brakes which were provided by Girling.”
The website is easy to navigate and contains everything you need to know about Girling’s impressive range of braking parts. With 95 percent European car parc coverage, all Girling brake parts are manufactured to original equipment standards in world-class facilities. Rigorously tested in the laboratory and on the road, all parts are fully compliant with ECE R90 brake safety requirements.
