First Brands Group acquires Horizon Global Corporation

Automotive parts firm First Brands Group has completed the acquisition of Horizon Global Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of towing and cargo management solutions.

Horizon Global distributes its products throughout Europe, North America and Africa, serving automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), retailers, dealer networks and the end consumer.

Its brands include Bulldog, Draw-Tite, Fulton, Reese, Tekonsha, Witter Towing Systems, and Westfalia-Automotive.

First Brands Group says the deal will result in a collection of market leading brands within the automotive industry, serving both OEM and the aftermarket channels under one group.
