Shaftec adds new brake calipers and driveshafts to range
Shaftec Automotive has added 18 new products to its New To Range collection for January, featuring seven brake calipers and 11 driveshafts.
Key applications for the new brake calipers include the BC11539 for the Audi A6 C7 (2010-2018), the BC21579 for the Opel/Vauxhall Astra Mk VII (2015 onwards), and the BC22060BLK for the Tesla Model S (2012 onwards).

The driveshafts include the FO301R for the Ford Kuga II (2008-2012), the ME226L for the Mercedes- Benz A-Class (2022 onwards), and the AU492R for the Audi A3 (2017 onwards).
These new parts for 2026 join the three driveshafts that were part of the most recent additions to the company’s New To Range selection.
Shaftec marketing manager, Adrian Kitchen said: “As usual, we make an effort to expand our New To
Range portfolio at every open opportunity. In our first additions of the year, we have made even
more parts available for petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric vehicles from a range of different
manufacturers. We are proud to continue giving customers many more options to select from, when
they need them.”
Here are some signs that your driveshafts might need changing:
- Inspect the driveshaft: Look for any signs of damage, such as cracks or dents.
- Check the inner/outer joints: Check for any play or looseness.
- Check for vibrations: If you feel any vibrations while driving, it could indicate a damaged
driveshaft. - Listen for noises: If you hear any clunking or grinding noises while driving, it could indicate a
damaged driveshaft.
Shaftec always recommends that if drivers notice any issues with their vehicle, they seek the
advice of an expert.
