New 4A intelligent battery charger from Laser Tools
Laser Tools has launched its new mains-powered 4A intelligent battery charger (part number 8699), which it says works seamlessly with both 6V and 12V automotive batteries, including lead-acid, LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate), AGM, and GEL batteries.
This charger employs a 10-stage charging cycle with microprocessor control that monitors your battery’s state and adjusts the charging output accordingly.
Trickle Charge Mode: Once your battery reaches its full charge, the charger automatically drops to a trickle charge of less than 1 amp, preventing overcharging and extending the battery’s life. Also included is a separate maintenance mode for added peace of mind.
Winter Mode: Cold weather can be tough on batteries. That’s why Laser Tools says it has included a specialised winter mode to ensure your battery gets the care it needs, even in freezing conditions.
The charger also features multiple protection mechanisms, including safeguards against overcharging, overheating, short circuits, reverse polarity, and low voltage.
Its built-in LCD screen makes it easy to keep tabs on your battery’s charge level and overall status. Supplied with both crocodile clips and ring terminals, it meets the highest international standards, including CE, GS, and RoHS compliance.
