Mintex holds best practice training day for Yorkshire garages
Global leader in brake friction technology, Mintex, has hosted a training day for Yorkshire garages to demonstrate best practice when fitting brake pads and discs.

Mintex invited mechanics to its test track in Yorkshire to show the correct procedures to follow when fitting Mintex brakes as well as understanding common causes for brake noise.
Nick Hayes, National Account Manager at Mintex, said: “Brake noise is a common complaint from customers but it is often not the brake discs or pads that cause it. Simple processes such as ensuring the hub is cleaned properly before fitting the new disc can make a huge difference in the performance – and noise – of the brakes.
“As the automotive industry develops we want to ensure mechanics are up-to-date with the latest brake technology and the procedures which can make their lives easier in the long-term.”
With more than 100 years’ experience in developing braking technology, Mintex provides an aftermarket braking solution for car manufacturers around the world. Part of TMD Friction, Mintex products are made to the same OE quality.
