MechanExpert technical roadshows on tour along the south coast
The second series of MechanExpert technical roadshows were successfully delivered last week (18th-20th June 2024) in Waterford, Midleton, and Skibbereen, introducing the trade to leading OE brands.
MechanExpert and Bosch ran demonstrations on the Bosch DAS 3000 ADAS Recalibration System in Waterford, along with live KTS demonstrations in Skibbereen.
Schaeffler REPXPERT presented LuK demonstrations on the 2CT each evening and gave a talk on how REPXPERT simplifies identifying the right part for repairs, integrating with Irish number plates.
Gates also gave an overview of their products in Skibbereen, which was well received by the garages of West Cork.
WWETB invited all mechanical students to attend the event held at the college in Waterford.
Peter from Kennedy’s Garage in Portlaw, Co Waterford, and Fin Shanahan from Shanahan’s Garage in Leap, Co Cork, both won a Bosch Driver each valued at €330.
The roadshows were held in association with Scanlon Motor Factors Ltd, Tadhg Hawes Motor Parts, and John O’Driscoll Motor Factors Limited.
