LKQ supports Rallye Monte-Carlo Classique challenge
Automotive Finesse, a Doncaster-based automotive restoration and refinement specialist, is taking part in the 2026 Rallye Monte-Carlo Classique with an Alfa Romeo GT Junior, supported by LKQ UK and Ireland, marking a major milestone for the business and its founders.
Taking place from 29th January – 7th February 2026, the Rallye Monte-Carlo Classique is organised by the Automobile Club de Monaco and is one of the most respected historic motorsport events in the world.
The Automotive Finesse entry – piloted by business owners Rudy and Sue Micallef – is supported operationally by LKQ UK and Ireland’s Bodyshop division, a key supplier of paint to the business’ insurer and restoration divisions under a five-year deal.
The rally recreates the challenge of the original Monte-Carlo Rally using classic cars eligible from past editions, combining long-distance driving with demanding stages on closed mountain roads.
The 2026 event will see hundreds of crews from across Europe converge on Monaco from multiple start locations.
