J. O’Brien Motor Factors appeals for support for Lyme disease treatment
Enda O’Brien, the owner of J. O’Brien Motor Factors in Knock, Co Mayo has shared with us the link to an iDonate fundraising page set up to support his daughter Orla’s ongoing battle with Lyme disease.
Orla is seeking access to an eight- to 12-week integrative treatment programme at the Neomed Institute in Cyprus, which focuses on addressing Lyme disease and related co-infections at their root.
The cost of treatment, accommodation, transport, and follow-up care is estimated at €80,000.
As a parent, Enda O’Brien is appealing for donations to help bring his daughter one step closer to recovery.
“If you felt in a position to support her in any way, even with the smallest donation, it would truly mean the world to us,” said O’Brien. “Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring hope and support during this ongoing fight.”
