GYS launches in Republic of Ireland with dedicated technical sales manager
GYS has officially launched in the Republic of Ireland, bringing its specialist automotive technologies – battery charging, induction heating, and welding – directly to Irish distributors and workshops.
The move is said to strengthen local support and ensures customers can access GYS expertise more easily and efficiently.
Over the past 10 years, GYS has invested heavily in automotive equipment technology. This focus has made GYS a leader in battery charging, driven strong growth in induction heating solutions, and established the company as Europe’s largest manufacturer of welding machines.
Having worked closely with distributors in Northern Ireland, GYS is now extending this support into the Republic of Ireland with the appointment of Matthew O’Rourke.
O’Rourke brings technical sales experience spanning both manufacturing and distribution. GYS says his understanding of workshop challenges and distributor needs means customers will receive practical, on-the-ground support – from demonstrations and technical advice to training and sales assistance.
