febi introduces in-house fluid testing device
febi has introduced its new fluid testing device, said to be an intelligent rapid-testing solution for oils and fluids, enabling quick analysis of engine, transmission, hydraulic and brake fluids.
According to the German firm, this device makes it possible to determine the condition of the fluids in cars, commercial vehicles, small vans and agricultural machinery.
While there are several outsourced laboratory analyses, febi claims its digital solution means workshops can offer this as an in-house service.
The test device enables analysis and observation of the condition of various fluids in a vehicle through an AI-powered diagnostic system.
The analyses are illustrated and presented in a PDF file. Based on the determined fluid condition, workshops can take a number of actions, such as a recommendation for an oil change.
The new fluid testing device can be ordered from febi stockists and connects simply to a PC, laptop or tablet. Enclosed with the kit there are iDiA Registration instructions to register the tester online, via a QR code.
febi will be exhibiting at the 2026 Auto Trade EXPO, which takes place alongside the CV Workshop EXPO from 10th -11th October at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin.
