FAI highlights importance of quality filters
FAI Auto Parts is spotlighting its comprehensive filter range as garages and technicians prepare for the seasonal surge in maintenance and demand for cleaner in-cabin air filtration.
Air moisture levels during winter months can harm many vehicle components. Higher humidity can cause condensation inside the air conditioning and cabin filter. Dust and pollen from summer mix with water particles, creating a barrier for the heating and air conditioning system. This increase puts extra strain on the air conditioning.
A clogged or poorly maintained filter forces the compressor to work harder, reducing efficiency and potentially leading to costly damage. Infrequent air conditioning use over winter can also allow moisture and bacteria to build up, causing unpleasant odours inside the cabin.
