Delphi opens new remanufacturing plant in Poland
Delphi Technologies has opened a new remanufacturing plant in Wroclaw, Poland, which it says represents a “major landmark” in its “dedication to ecological responsibility and cutting-edge remanufacturing practices”.
Strategically located close to the company’s central distribution centre in Europe, Delphi says this facility is engineered to minimise its ecological footprint.
As an example, the plant’s architecture features expansive windows to harness as much natural light as possible, reducing reliance on artificial lighting to cut energy consumption.
According to Delphi, the new remanufacturing plant in Wroclaw has the capacity to process “over tens of thousands of parts annually”.
Delphi adds that the new facility is projected to be a cornerstone of business in the region with plans to expand the portfolio of fuel system technologies which can be remanufactured.
