Bosch expands accessory drive portfolio

The accessory drive is becoming increasingly important in modern vehicles with their numerous accessory components – such as the coolant pump, servo pump and AC compressor. All of those components are subject to the same loads and should be replaced at the same time.

To support this, Bosch has expanded its existing workshop program for drive technology to include belt tensioners, idler pulleys and ribbed V-belt kits.

Bosch says this enables workshops to obtain the required parts easily and time-savingly from a single source: over 200 new single components and more than 40 new ribbed V-belt kits.

Based on many years of expertise in drive technology and extensive vehicle data, Bosch says it offers suitable accessory drive components for a wide range of vehicles.

The ESI[tronic] workshop software also includes detailed repair instructions and additional service information for workshops.

Bosch also offers belt tensioners for hybrid applications. These are capable of handling fluctuating torques from petrol and electric motors and ensure consistent belt tensions.

Bosch will be exhibiting at the 2026 Auto Trade EXPO, which takes place alongside the CV Workshop EXPO from 10th -11th October at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin.
