Schaeffler adds new UK and Ireland sales manager
Schaeffler has appointed experienced aftermarket professional, Alan Bodfish, as sales manager for its UK and Ireland commercial team.
Bodfish joins Schaeffler having worked for a number of leading businesses in the aftermarket, such as Delphi, Magneti Marelli and ZF.
Alongside managing an evolving single sales team which covers the whole of the UK and Ireland, Bodfish will also be going out on the road to visit customers, garage owners and technicians to fully understand their requirements and where Schaeffler can assist them best.
Sales and marketing director, Matthew Selby, said: “Alan has an impressive background and knowledge of the aftermarket, so is a valuable and welcome addition to the Schaeffler team, and we all look forward to working with him.
“He already knows and understands the Schaeffler portfolio, as well as a lot of our customers, from the various other roles he has had during his career, so we know that he’s going to hit the ground running!”
