NGK customers enjoy trip of a lifetime
NGK customers enjoyed the trip of a lifetime recently when they attended a special rally day out at the home of one of the UK’s leading motorsport teams.
The group spent the day at Cumbria-based M-Sport where they toured the company’s impressive Dovenby Hall headquarters before being treated to an exhilarating drive on its testing ground in Greystoke Forest.
NGK is a sponsor of the Qatar M-Sport World Rally Team which competes in the FIA World Rally Championship.
The team’s drivers, Norwegian Mads Østberg and Russian Evgeny Novikov, currently lay third and 14th after two rounds of the current championship in their Ford Fiesta RS WRC cars.
Powered by Ford Ecoboost 1600cc direct injection engines developed by Ford, M-Sport and Pipo Moteurs, the cars deliver 300bhp at 6000rpm and boast a torque figure of 450Nm at 4000rpm.
