Mirka introduces new AbraClean cleaning pad
Mirka has introduced its new AbraClean, patent-pending cleaning pad that makes it easier to remove fine sanding dust from surfaces.
While the cloths and wipes traditionally used in surface preparation leave behind residues and fail to remove small particles fully, Mirka claims AbraClean offers impeccable dry dust removal.
Simply attach AbraClean to a sander with dust extraction and sweep it over the sanded surface. This new way of cleaning surfaces using a sanding tool, whether manual or automated, speeds up surface finishing process considerably, according to Mirka.
Another of AbraClean’s benefits is that it can be reused multiple times by rinsing under water and left to dry in between uses. This reduces waste and overall costs.
AbraClean is suitable for automotive manufacturing and refinishing, woodworking, composite processing and marine industry applications.
The new product is offered as 150 mm discs and is compatible with six-inch sanders.
