Bosch eXchange products now without plastic seal
Bosch eXchange products, including starters and alternators, will no longer feature the plastic seals starting from this summer.
The company says this is a step further towards new packaging while simplifying handling in the workshop.
It adds that by getting rid of the seal, cutting and disposal before installation are no longer necessary meaning workshops will benefit from simplified handling.
During a transitional phase, both products with and without a seal will be in circulation. Genuine Bosch eXchange products will continue to be recognisable by the Bosch eXchange logo on their packaging.
For further identification, starters and alternators also feature the Bosch eXchange logo on the product label, and diesel products are provided with a Bosch eXchange sticker as a packaging seal
