Banner showcases new lithium range and refreshed identity at Automechanika Frankfurt
Banner Group, represented in Ireland by Europower Battery Centre, showcased its latest battery solutions and unveiled a refreshed brand identity at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026.
The Austrian battery specialist exhibited in Hall 4.1, Stand D51, at the international automotive aftermarket show, which took place from September 8–12. Its presentation brought together starter and onboard batteries, energy-storage solutions, chargers and testing equipment.
A key highlight was the international trade debut of the Traction Bull Bloc Lithium series. Based on lithium iron phosphate technology (LiFePO₄), the range is designed for motorhomes, caravans, boats and stationary off-grid applications, expanding Banner’s Energy Solutions offering.
Alongside the lithium introduction, Banner presented its established automotive portfolio, including Running Bull AGM and EFB batteries, Power Bull and Buffalo Bull AGM. Motorcycle and powersport batteries, together with charging and testing equipment, completed the display.
For commercial vehicle workshops and fleet operators, the Buffalo Bull range was particularly relevant. The portfolio covers trucks, buses and agricultural and construction machinery, with heavy-duty options alongside EFB batteries for high onboard energy requirements and AGM versions for the greatest energy demands in long-distance trucks.
Automechanika also provided the first international platform for Banner’s updated corporate identity. Its redesigned stand featured a modernised logo, new colours and typography, and revised product labelling. Meetings with customers, distribution partners and industry representatives provided feedback on the company’s products and changing market requirements.
In Ireland, Europower Battery Centre has been the official distributor for Banner batteries for more than 30 years. Based in Glasnevin, Dublin, the company supplies batteries for automotive and a wide range of specialist applications.
