{"id":9906,"date":"2016-03-15T11:22:20","date_gmt":"2016-03-15T10:22:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.factorfocus.ie\/?p=9906"},"modified":"2016-03-15T11:22:21","modified_gmt":"2016-03-15T10:22:21","slug":"luk-adds-to-clutch-range-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.factorfocus.ie\/index.php\/luk-adds-to-clutch-range-4\/9906","title":{"rendered":"LuK adds to clutch range"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Schaeffler (UK) Ltd has kicked off 2016 by continuing to add to its market-leading LuK clutch range.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.factorfocus.ie\/index.php\/luk-adds-to-clutch-range-4\/9906\/luk_repset_pro-copy\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9907\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9907\" src=\"http:\/\/www.factorfocus.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/LuK_REPSET_PRO-copy.jpg\" alt=\"LuK_REPSET_PRO copy\" width=\"615\" height=\"355\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.factorfocus.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/LuK_REPSET_PRO-copy.jpg 615w, https:\/\/www.factorfocus.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/LuK_REPSET_PRO-copy-300x173.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 615px) 100vw, 615px\" \/><\/a>The global technology giant introduced new parts for a staggering additional 5.55 million vehicles last year and has already announced more additions to continue to make it the first-choice for independent garage workshops.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">In 2015 it introduced 53 new LuK RepSets, 23 LuK RepSet Pros, 24 Dual Mass Flywheels (DMFs) and 14 LuK Cylinders, and so far this year has added six new LuK RepSets, two RepSet Pros and a DMF, to increase vehicle parc coverage by more than 366,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Recent additions to the range include parts for some significant Ford models including LuK RepSets for the Focus III 1.0 EcoBoost, 02\/2012-, and Focus III 1.6 Ti, 04\/2011-, LuK RepSet Pros for the Fiesta VI 1.0 EcoBoost, 01\/2013-, and Mondeo IV (BA7) 1.6 TDCi, 02\/2011-, and a LuK RepSet 2CT for the Focus III 1.6 Ti (Dual Shift Gearbox), 04\/2011-. Plus there\u2019s a DMF for the Focus III 1.6 TDCi, 04\/2011-.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">In addition there have been new LuK Master Cylinders released for the vehicle manufacturer\u2019s Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) models, the Ford Transit 2.2 TDCi, 10\/2011-, and Transit Courier 1.6 TDCi, 02\/2014-.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">New releases also include parts for a wide variety of Far Eastern vehicles including a LuK Slave Cylinder for the Toyota RAV 4 Mk II (CLA2, XA2, ZCA2, ACA2,) 2.0 D-4D 4WD, 09\/2001-11\/2005, and a LuK RepSet Pro for the Nissan Qashqai\/Qashqai +2 (J10, JJ10) 1.6 dCi, 10\/2011-.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">VAG models are also catered for with a LuK RepSet now available for the Audi TT (8J3) 2.0 TFSI, 05\/20-10-06\/2014, a LuK RepSet and RepSet Pro for the VW Tiguan (5N) 2.0 TSI 4motion, 05\/2011-, a DMF for the VW Polo (6R, 6C) 1.4 06\/2009-, and a LuK Bolt Set for the VW Golf Mk IV (1J1) 2.8 V6 4motion, 03\/1999-06\/2005.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Malcolm Short, Technical Services Manager for Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket in the UK, said: \u201cAfter successfully introducing new LuK parts for more than five-and-a-half million additional vehicles last year we have hit the ground running in 2016.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">\u201cAs the leading supplier of original equipment clutches we will continue to introduce new part numbers for the widest range of vehicles that are being worked on by UK and Ireland independent garages covering a wide range of vehicles, both mass production and niche models.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">\u201cThe LuK clutch range will continue to be the complete clutch solution for millions of vehicles on the roads and the first choice for distributors and garages.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">LuK recommends that customers consult the online catalogue at <span class=\"s1\"> HYPERLINK &#8220;http:\/\/www.schaeffler-aftermarket.co.uk\/&#8221;<\/span><span class=\"s2\">www.schaeffler-aftermarket.co.uk<\/span><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>for more information about exact applications for these new additions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">In addition to LuK clutch products, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd also supplies INA tensioners and FAG wheel bearings to the independent aftermarket.
