<\/p>\nNGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd has been named the United Aftermarket Network (UAN) Automotive Supplier of the Year for 2015.<\/p>\n
The ignition specialist received the accolade following a vote by the 168 members of UAN \u2013 part of the Alliance Automotive Group \u2013 who rated its suppliers on criteria that included parts availability, head office and field sales support, new to range products, customer support and promotional activity.<\/p>\n

Marko Wowczyna, Automotive Director, NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd, was presented with the award by UAN Managing Director Phil Dodd following the recent UAN and GROUPAUTO trade show and conference held at Liverpool Exhibition Centre, attended by more than 1000 exhibitors and members and 200 suppliers.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cI am delighted that we have received such a prestigious award from the UAN members. As a company we always strive to provide the best possible products and service to our distributors and their garage customers and to receive such an accolade in this our 40th anniversary year in the UK is fantastic news. <\/p>\n

Phil Dodd said: \u201cI am delighted that NGK has been named our supplier of the year. NGK\u2019s product portfolio has grown enormously since being incorporated as a UK subsidiary company of Japan in 1975 and it is now an original equipment (OE) parts supplier of spark plugs, glow plugs and NTK Lambda and other engine management sensors to most of the world\u2019s leading vehicle manufacturers (VMs), with the same parts being available to the independent automotive aftermarket.<\/p>\n
In 2013 it also successfully launched a range of high quality ignition coils and this year enhanced its industry-leading BoxClever garage loyalty scheme.<\/p>\n
