<\/p>\nA group of Irish Motor Factors attended the recent Rally Poland 2015, guests of rally sponsors Lotos Oils, and exclusive Irish distributor CC Lubricants.<\/p>\n
Pat Lyons, Agri Auto Parts, Tralee, Paul Harty, Car Parts Warehouse, Galway, Glen Bradshaw, J&L Bradshaw, Portlaoise, Brian King, King Oils, Naas were given a tour of the Lotos Oil refinery in Gd\u00e1nsk, where they were given an insight into the refining process and also the vast range of Lotos products on the market which cover fuel, oils, car care products and fluids, asphalt, industrial lubes, railway products, and more. <\/p>\n

The group was also treated to two spectator stages at rally headquarters in Mikolajki and met with
\n Polish rally driver Robert Kubica, who was competing on home soil.<\/p>\n
To coincide with the trip CC Lubricants, the exclusive distributor of the Lotos range of premium oils in Ireland for the past five years, has launched a summer promotion on the brand’s range of C2 and C3 engine oils.<\/p>\n

Lotos Synthetic 504\/507 SAE 5W-30 is a top tier PCMO (Passenger Car Mineral Oil), which is officially approved by Volkswagen against 504.00\/507.00\u00a0 requirements. VW 504.00\/507.00 is backward compatible with 503.00 and 506.00 VW standards. <\/p>\n
Lotos Synthetic C2+C3 SAE 5W-30 and Lotos Synthetic Turbodiesel SAE 5W-40 are latest generation synthetic motor oils with reduced SAPS content. They have been developed specifically for universal use in modern passenger cars equipped with petrol as well as diesel engines with particulate filters, where the use of ACEA C3 oils are recommended.<\/p>\n
These oils are recommended for Peugeot, Citro\u00ebn, Mercedes-Benz, Kia, Hyundai, Subaru, Toyota, Fiat, Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat and others, where API, ACEA or OEM performance is required.<\/p>\n
Both oils meets GM Dexos 2, which means they can be used in GM\/Vauxhall vehicles requiring oils with GM LL-025A and GM LL-025B specification on the labels. They can be used for extended drain intervals, while ensuring optimum performance throughout the whole engine life.<\/p>\n
Lotos Synthetic C2+C3 SAE 5W-30 is certified to both ACEA C2 and C3, which for many years was not possible in previous products. Lotos Synthetic C2+C3 SAE 5W-30 represents a perfect business solution for independent garages, because it cuts out the needs to stock to separate (C2 & C3) products.<\/p>\n
Lotos Synthetic 504\/507 SAE 5W-30, Lotos Synthetic C2+ C3 SAE 5W-30 and Lotos Synthetic Turbodiesel SAE 5W-40 are included on the list of Daimler approved lubricants against MB 229.51 specification.<\/p>\n
