To raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, a charity very important to many people at Ring Automotive, they braved the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on Friday 12th June.<\/p>\n

A team of 18 colleagues from Ring took part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, which saw them climb Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), all of which were completed within 12 hours.<\/p>\n

Overall, the challenge saw the team take on 40km of walking and 5,200ft of ascent.<\/p>\n

The company set up a dedicated fundraising page<\/a> for anyone who wants to donate. So far the team have raised over \u00a31,400 and any donations are greatly appreciated by all.<\/p>\n

Marketing director for Ring, Henry Bisson, said: \u201cWe have done the Three Peaks challenge as a team for the past few years and this year, we had 18 of us out in the dales.<\/p>\n

“This year was the toughest yet, the great British weather was not on our side, but we battled through the ups and downs and raised a lot of money for our chosen charity, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, which is close to many of us.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were also doing this challenge in memory of a colleague and friend at Ring Automotive, who sadly passed away at the end of last year, so we were grateful to come together as a team and do this in his memory.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
