Delphi has released a new range of brake pads for light commercial vehicles (LCVs). The Professional+ line has been engineered to withstand the high-stop, high-load conditions typical of fleet use. It offers longer pad life and added workshop value.<\/p>\n

A total of 58 SKUs will be phased in progressively during 2026, ensuring coverage of high-demand applications including the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Vito, Ford Transit, Volkswagen Transporter, Fiat Ducato, and Iveco Daily \u2013 covering about 70 per cent of the European LCV parc.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Durability is the differentiator, according to Delphi. Professional+ pads use an innovative heavy-duty friction material that results in an average of 40 per cent longer life than conventional aftermarket pads. Testing on high-mileage platforms like the Sprinter showed reduced wear and excellent braking performance.<\/p>\n

To support consistent quality and reduce installation time, all pads ship with a sachet of brake grease. In addition, pre-fitted silver shims minimize noise and vibration to deliver a smoother, quieter ride. Even in cases where the original equipment (OE) doesn\u2019t include shims, Delphi\u2019s Professional+ pads do.<\/p>\n

The pads feature a distinctive blue backplate and laser-etched, silver-painted shim marked with \u201cProfessional+\u201d, and new packaging also highlights core benefits like durability, comfort, and professional-grade design.<\/p>\n

Thanks to its advanced formulation, the Professional+ pad lasts longer while maintaining a low impact on disc wear\u2014helping preserve the overall lifespan of the braking system.<\/p>\n

The new pads are covered by a five-year or 50,000-mile warranty (c. 80,000km).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
