<\/p>\nWhile Ring Automotive is primarily known for its renowned lighting range, the company covers a vast array of accessories and components. An offering that has recently been expanded is its towing range.<\/p>\n
Ring has a comprehensive selection of towing equipment, including plugs and sockets, cables, mirrors, towbars and reflectors, which ensure drivers who tow have all they need to stay safe throughout their journey.<\/p>\n
To extend its offering and create a more comprehensive towing range, Ring has added four new products to assist with drivers complying with the law.<\/p>\n
For vehicles that are towing trailers, the trailer must have two red sidelights, two red stop lamps, an lluminated number plate and two triangular red reflectors, plus amber indicators on the back. Drivers can be fined, be banned from driving and get three penalty points for using a vehicle in a dangerous condition, which would include faulty lights.<\/p>\n

The first two products that Ring has introduced are LED four foot (RCT955\/LED) and six foot (RCT965\/LED) trailer boards with dynamic indicators. Both are PVC trailer boards with two, four function LED trailer lamps that include dynamic indicators, brake lights, tail lights and licence plate mounting.<\/p>\n
Both also have two reflectors, one LED fog lamp and come with a six metre cable and seven pin plug. The products also have their E4\/E11 approval – the only difference between the two products is the length of the board.<\/p>\n
Alternatively, if there\u2019s already a trailer board, or similar, available, Ring has a new magnetic LED lighting kit (RCT802), which is held on by two strong magnets. The kit has two, five function LED trailer lamps, including regular indicator, brake light, tail light, licence plate and reflectors.<\/p>\n
The kit comes with a 12 metre cable and a seven pin plug with a four metre cable between lamps. It has E4 approval and is easy to install without complex wiring, making it ideal when the user needs a quick solution and needs to swap the lamps between pieces of equipment.<\/p>\n

Finally, Ring has launched a 8\/13 pin alignment cap (RCT735), which ensures correct alignment of a 13-pin plug that also creates a watertight seal for when a caravan is stored away.<\/p>\n
