{"id":35162,"date":"2026-01-28T11:13:25","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T10:13:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.factorfocus.ie\/?p=35162"},"modified":"2026-01-28T11:14:01","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T10:14:01","slug":"elta-automotive-acquires-cooling-components-limited","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.factorfocus.ie\/index.php\/elta-automotive-acquires-cooling-components-limited\/35162","title":{"rendered":"Elta Automotive acquires Cooling Components Limited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Elta Automotive Limited has announced the acquisition of automotive cooling systems specialist, Cooling Components Limited, widely recognised for its Serck Automotive brand.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/News_CoolingComponents.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/News_CoolingComponents.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" class=\"wp-image-77824 aligncenter\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As vehicles become more complex (particularly with the continued growth of hybrid and electric vehicles) effective temperature control is critical to performance, reliability, and emissions compliance.<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition, said Elta, strengthens the company\u2019s position in this key growth area and supports its long-term focus on future vehicle technologies.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Elta added that the addition of the Serck Automotive brand further bolsters its growing brand portfolio, which includes VXPRO, VisionPRO, Lucas, and Pride.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/SerckAutomotive-Cooling-Products-Products.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/SerckAutomotive-Cooling-Products-Products.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1604\" height=\"1169\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-77825\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cooling Components will continue to operate from its Tamworth warehouse, with all day-to-day operations remaining unchanged. Paul Baggott will remain as director of Cooling Components Limited.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis acquisition marks a key moment in the next phase of the Serck Automotive brand,&#8221; said Baggott. &#8220;Cooling Components has built a strong respected business, but to take Serck Automotive to the next level required significant new investment and additional resources.
