Here is an acknowledgement and reflection from a member of the team at Gem Oils.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-76281 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1758546000728.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"416\" \/><em>It is with profound sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our dear friend and retired colleague,\u00a0<\/em><\/span><em><span class=\"\">Eric Forde.<\/span><span class=\"\"><br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/><\/span><\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><em><span class=\"\">Eric joined the Gem family in 1972 and dedicated 47 years of his career to our company, retiring in\u00a02019. During this time, he served as an Area Business Manager with unwavering dedication and\u00a0professionalism.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><em><span class=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><em><span class=\"\">Eric\u2019s kindness, integrity, and loyalty left an enduring mark on all who had the\u00a0privilege to work alongside him. He was not only a valued colleague but also a mentor, a leader, an\u00a0ambassador and a true stalwart of Gem Oils.<br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/>Eric\u2019s contribution to our organisation went far beyond his work\u2014his warmth, humour, and generosity\u00a0of spirit enriched the lives of his colleagues and friends. He will be remembered with deep respect and\u00a0great affection.<br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/>Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with his beloved wife Elizabeth, daughters Janet, Alison, and\u00a0Joanne, his six cherished grandchildren, and his extended family and friends.<br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/>He will be sadly missed by all of us at Gem Oils.\u00a0<br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/>Safe in the arms of heaven.<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"\"><span class=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eric Forde, formerly a popular member of the Gem Oils team for 47 years up to his retirement in 2019, passed away recently.
