{"id":30105,"date":"2023-09-18T09:36:04","date_gmt":"2023-09-18T08:36:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.factorfocus.ie\/?p=30105"},"modified":"2023-09-18T15:05:28","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T14:05:28","slug":"gs-yuasa-opens-new-europe-hq","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.factorfocus.ie\/index.php\/gs-yuasa-opens-new-europe-hq\/30105","title":{"rendered":"GS Yuasa opens new Europe HQ"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GS Yuasa has opened a new battery facility located on a 178,500 square foot site in the Ignition Park in Swindon, England.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The new site will act as the headquarters for GS Yuasa Battery Europe Ltd as well as the sales and distribution centre for GS Yuasa Battery Sales UK Ltd.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Ignition_Park_Opening_Press-1024x687.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"645\" height=\"433\" class=\"wp-image-67088 \" \/><\/p>\n<p>GS Yuasa says its new facility incorporates the latest advancements in warehouse systems, such as sophisticated automated shuttle racking, AGV reach trucks and pick tunnels which significantly improve order processing capacity and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>With dedicated charging facilities, as well as an e-commerce picking area with specialist packing equipment, GS Yuasa adds that the Ignition Park development will ensure the highest levels of service are continuously met as the company expands over the next 10 to 15 years.<\/p>\n<p>GS Yuasa Battery Europe Ltd. will also relocate to the new facility from its current offices at GS Yuasa\u2019s UK factory in Ebbw Vale, Wales.<\/p>\n<p>The company oversees GS Yuasa\u2019s six European companies, and the move will strengthen finance, supply chain and IT operations across the continent in support of the groups ambitions to grow market share in all markets and regions, according to GS Yuasa.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew Taylor, managing director and chief executive of GS Yuasa Battery Europe Ltd said of the new facility: &#8220;With the most advanced warehouse equipment, streamlined processes, and a relentless focus on customer satisfaction, GS Yuasa is poised to set new industry standards and chart a course for the future of battery manufacturing and distribution.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GS Yuasa has opened a new battery facility located on a 178,500 square foot site in the Ignition Park in Swindon, England.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3164,"featured_media":30106,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[4,1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-30105","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-batteries","category-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.7 -
