{"id":25959,"date":"2021-09-07T10:00:45","date_gmt":"2021-09-07T09:00:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.factorfocus.ie\/?p=25959"},"modified":"2021-09-07T15:09:57","modified_gmt":"2021-09-07T14:09:57","slug":"ferodo-introduces-fuse-technology-brake-pads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.factorfocus.ie\/index.php\/ferodo-introduces-fuse-technology-brake-pads\/25959","title":{"rendered":"Ferodo introduces Fuse+ Technology brake pads"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OE brake manufacturer, Ferodo, has introduced new automotive brake pads, which it claims &#8220;bridge the gap&#8221; between outstanding braking performance and high-end comfort.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The new Ferodo Fuse+ Technology brake pads feature a highly advanced new friction material that combines the trusted, high-performance braking power of low-steel formulations and the comfort-intensive characteristics of non-asbestos organic (NAO) materials.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-59073\" src=\"http:\/\/www.autotrade.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Ferodo-Fuseplus-Pack-en-Product-FINAL-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1810\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The company says these brake pads are the result of more than three years of intensive research and development at its UK tech centre.<\/p>\n<p>Ferodo claims the new pads offer top-tier stopping power, longer pad and disc life, reduced dusting and certified OE matching quality.<\/p>\n<p>Fuse+ Technology pads feature a combination of more than 20 precisely engineered components and also include Ferodo&#8217;s exclusive zero-copper Eco Friction Technology, which reduces dusting and cuts pad emissions by 60 per cent, according to the manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFuse+ Technology marks the beginning of an entirely new era of braking innovation on behalf of the professionals, racing teams and consumers who rely on Ferodo brake pads,\u201d said David Coimbra, braking aftermarket product manager, Tenneco DRiV EMEA Motorparts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis exciting new technology eliminates the need to lose certain important braking characteristics to achieve others. Now, our customers can enjoy the best of both worlds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new Ferodo Fuse+ Technology brake pads are now available for almost 100 leading car makers in Europe, including Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen.
