Wolf Lubricants range from Serfac continues to grow with Irish aftermarket demand

The Wolf Lubricants range, distributed in Ireland by Serfac Limited, continues to gain strong traction with motor factors and workshops nationwide, as demand increases for high-performance, future-ready lubrication solutions.

Since its introduction to the Irish market in 2022, the Belgian brand has gone from strength to strength, supported by a comprehensive and continuously evolving product portfolio. Serfac stocks an extensive range of Wolf products, including engine oils, transmission and gear oils, hydraulic fluids, coolants, antifreeze and greases, offering customers a complete solution across multiple vehicle types and applications.

A key growth area for the range has been its advanced coverage of hybrid and electrified vehicles. Wolf’s dedicated hybrid range now includes 45 products, incorporating eight specialist engine oils designed to meet the specific requirements of hybrid powertrains, delivering 100 per cent coverage of the hybrid car parc.

This ensures workshops can confidently service an increasingly electrified vehicle population.

In addition to its hybrid offering, Wolf has continued to expand its innovation-led portfolio in 2026 with further developments in low-viscosity engine oils, enhanced fuel-efficiency formulations and next-generation EV fluids. These include advanced e-transmission fluids and thermal management solutions specifically developed for electric vehicles, helping to optimise performance, efficiency and component longevity in modern drivetrains.

Wolf’s strong focus on research and development remains central to its success. With over 60 years of expertise, the company operates as a blending specialist, working in close collaboration with leading additive suppliers. This unique position gives Wolf direct access to the latest additive technologies, enabling rapid development of new formulations that meet the latest OEM specifications and environmental standards.

The brand’s ability to react quickly to market changes, combined with its deep understanding of the production and distribution chain, ensures a consistent pipeline of innovative products tailored to evolving vehicle technologies. This has positioned Wolf as a leading specialist in high-performance lubricants across passenger car, commercial vehicle and industrial sectors.

All Wolf lubricants are produced to the highest quality standards, supported by a dedicated R&D team, an onsite laboratory and rigorous quality control processes. The company holds a full suite of OEM approvals and ISO certifications, reinforcing its reputation for OE-quality performance and reliability. Headquartered in Antwerp, Wolf exports to more than 95 countries worldwide.

Commenting on the continued success of the range, Gillian Fanning of Serfac said: “The Wolf brand continues to perform extremely well for us in Ireland. As vehicle technology evolves, particularly with the growth of hybrid and electric vehicles, the need for high-quality, specialist lubricants has never been greater. Wolf is at the forefront of that innovation.

“Our customers value both the technical quality of the range and the commercial opportunity it represents. With strong availability, expert support and competitive pricing, Wolf offers a compelling and profitable proposition for motor factors and workshops alike.”
