NAPA helping to steer the growth of Chinese OEMs
Chinese OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) account for over six per cent of Ireland’s new car registrations in 2026, according to the latest data from SIMI (Society of the Irish Motor Industry), and that share continues to grow.
Automotive aftermarket brand NAPA said it is investing in the future of the automotive industry, ensuring that its frequent range expansions include parts for newcomers to the Irish market like BYD and returning manufacturers like MG.
Many of these new models are approaching their first NCT, offering fresh servicing and repair opportunities for garages nationwide.
In summer 2025, NAPA was first-to-market with steering and suspension parts for the BYD Atto 3, saying that this commitment to staying ahead of the curve has continued.

With an industry-leading product range that includes electric vehicles and emerging vehicle manufacturers, NAPA says it is at the forefront of parts availability and coverage.
