Multiple awards for Ring tyre care range
In the last few months, Ring has come out on top for two of Auto Express’ tyre product based tests, one for tyre inflators and the other for tyre sealant.
Having created its tyre care range 20 years ago, Ring has since fashioned an award winning and highly respected lineup of over 30 products, including tyre inflators, foot pumps, gauges and sealant.
One of its most recent award wins was for its newly launched ULTRAINFLATE 20 that scored five out of five stars in the Auto Express annual tyre inflator test, showcasing that while the price is competitive, it’s still a fantastic and high performance product.
The ULTRAINFLATE 20 boasts a large digital display and ‘Ringtelligence’ Technology that brings a programmable auto-stop function, ensuring precise inflation every time, as well as a ‘Dynamic Display’ with a progress bar on the screen, allowing users to track the inflation process, indicating how much pressure is still required to meet the set target.
Ring was also awarded best tyre sealant from Auto Express. Its flat tyre sealant (RTS4502) received 4.5 out of 5 stars, with the tester commenting: “The Ring is the only sealant we’d be confident using at the roadside and then trust to get us home.” And also, “Connecting it is easy, and by making sure the puncture was at the bottom of the wheel when we were filling, the hole was quickly plugged. It was mess free, quick and effective.”
The sealant is designed to seal punctures up to 6mm and is made to original equipment specification. To make it as easy as possible for the user, there’s no need for jacks or tools, and the sealant is safe for use with tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) and suitable for all weather conditions. With this sealant, drivers can go up to 125 miles at 50 mph before needing professional repair.
