All Febest glow plugs are tested, that’s why the glow tube tip is darkened. The plugs get randomly picked for x-ray to check the coil’s coaxiality, for the vibration test and cooling chamber test.
Glow plug replacement intervals depend on engine type, usage, and symptoms rather than a fixed mileage. All glow plugs are recommended to be replaced at the same time to prevent subsequent repair work. The control unit should also be checked when replacing the glow plugs. And when replacing the control unit, all glow plugs should also be replaced – this prevents a new control unit being damaged by a defective glow plug.
