FAG wheel bearing range extended
The FAG wheel bearings range is continuing to grow with new additions for more than 200,000 vehicles already released in 2013.
The range – available through Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd – has expanded dramatically over the past 12 months with parts for more than 3.16 million additional vehicles being introduced.
Latest releases include new part numbers for nearly 40,000 vehicles including both light commercial vehicles (LCVS) and passenger cars.
These include: a Gen 1 FAG wheel bearing for the Iveco Daily II, 2001-, front; a Gen 2 bearing for nearly 20,000 vehicles including the VAG A7 Sportback 3.0 Tdi, 11/2010-, A6 2.0 Tdi, 3.0 Tdi, 03/2011-, and Q5 11/2010-, rear; plus a Gen 2 bearing for almost 4000 vehicles including the VW Polo Fox (5Z1, 5Z3) 1.2 ABS and Servotronic PAS, 01/2005-, front, on which FAG is fitted as original equipment (OE).
Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd Technical Services Manager Malcolm Short said: “We have increased our FAG coverage for both the car and LCV vehicle parc over the past year and we are continuing to do so in 2013.
