FAG adds to wheel bearing range
New FAG wheel bearings have been released into the aftermarket which cater for the needs of more than 130,000 vehicles.
Ten new part numbers issued over the past month mean new part releases by Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd so far this year cover a vehicle parc of more than 1.31 million vehicles.
New additions include: Gen 1 FAG wheel bearings for nearly 30,500 vehicles including the Hyundai/Kia Tucson/Sportage 2004-10, rear; Gen 2 bearings for more than 28,400 vehicles including the Hyundai Coupe Exc. ABS 2001-, rear; Gen 3 bearings for nearly 19,000 vehicles including the Chevrolet/Daewoo Epica, Lacetti, Nubira, ABS 2003-, rear; and Gen 1 bearings for more than 6100 vehicles including the Renault/General Motors Master IV and Movano 2010-, front, to go with the rear bearings that FAG already supplies.
Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd Technical Services Manager Malcolm Short said: “The FAG range is continuing to expand to cover even more vehicles that are entering the aftermarket as they come out of warranty. Independent garages can expect to see even more new part numbers become available over the coming months.”
