Ballybofey Autofactors celebrates 25 years
Ballybofey Autofactors in Co Donegal is celebrating 25 years in business, having opened it 2001 to address a need locally for an automotive parts supplier.

Managing director and founder, Damien Mc Elhinney, notes that the business started out in a modest 800 sq ft shop, selling car parts and accessories, with takings of just £140 on day one.
“Like any small business at the beginning, it was built on hard work, long days, and a belief that it could grow into something more.
“Fast forward to today, and we’re proud to be operating from a 20,000 sq ft warehouse and retail space, supported by an incredible team who bring dedication, expertise, and energy every single day,” he said.
Over the years, Ballybofey Autofactors has continually evolved. What began as an auto parts and accessories store has grown into one of Ireland’s fastest-growing online retailers of power tools and equipment, via toolforce.ie which was set up in October 2021.
“Reaching 25 years is a significant milestone, and it wouldn’t have been possible without our loyal customers, trusted suppliers, and the outstanding team of people who have been part of our journey along the way,” added Mc Elhinney.
