GS Yuasa launches first AGM commercial vehicle battery
GS Yuasa has launched the Yuasa YBX9625 Super Heavy Duty (SHD) AGM, the company’s first-ever AGM commercial vehicle battery.
The new unit introduces advanced AGM technology to the Yuasa commercial vehicle, marking a major step forward in power capability, durability, and fleet coverage.
Designed to meet the rapidly increasing electrical demands of modern HGVs, buses, coaches and specialist vehicles, GS Yuasa says the YBX9625 delivers exceptional endurance, superior charge acceptance and rapid recharge capability.
Its sealed, maintenance-free construction, extreme vibration resistance and outstanding cycle life make it the perfect solution for hoteling, auxiliary equipment loads, harsh operating environments and frequent partial state-of-charge operation.
The launch also highlights the strength and versatility of Yuasa’s YBX Super Heavy Duty range for commercial vehicles and PSVs, from heavy-duty haulage and public transport to agriculture, construction and municipal fleets, Yuasa YBX batteries are engineered to deliver maximum uptime, reliable power delivery and long service life across all operating conditions.
Yuasa batteries are fitted as an original equipment (OE) by leading manufacturers including Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Ford Otosan, Hino, Isuzu, Nissan, UD Trucks and many more.
