Turbo Technics appoints engineering manager
Turbo Technics, one of Europe’s leading developers and producers of vehicle turbochargers and turbocharging test equipment, has appointed Colin Thorne to the newly created position of Engineering Manager. Colin joins the Northampton based company from Hartridge Limited.
A chartered engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Colin has over 20 years experience in product engineering and manufacturing within the diesel industry, spending time with both Lucas and Delphi. At Turbo Technics he will be responsible for the development and expansion of the company’s range of new turbocharger products, together with the continued expansion of the important turbocharger test equipment range.
Colin is married with three children and lives close to the Silverstone motor racing circuit. He will be based at the company’s headquarters and manufacturing centre in Brackmills, Northampton.
