Shaftec growth drives website and marketing material upgrade
Shaftec, a leading supplier of transmission, braking & steering parts used this year’s UK Automechanika show in Birmingham to announce that its bold, new-look website is now live: www.shaftec.com. In addition, as part of a strategic plan to refresh and update its brand in line with growth, the business introduced a new series of dynamic press adverts.
Having undergone major development in partnership with global data specialist Elcome, for the first time, the company’s website has direct links to all its catalogue data – significantly improving user experience by providing a more efficient service. Furthermore, with a fresh, modern look and feel, the website has improved functionality and enhanced content. With imagery centred around the business strapline of: ‘Drive. Steer. Stop.’ Remanufactured or new, it’s what we do’ the website is initially available in English only.
Marrying a modern, new design with imagery that captures the spirit of Shaftec’s heritage, engineering expertise and part production, it illustrates how the brand has developed into a major player in the European aftermarket.
Shaftec’s UK sales manager, Chris Journet, commented: “Over the past five years we’ve experienced exponential growth. In line with this, we needed to upgrade our digital and marketing capability; which we did after much consultation with our customers. We asked our customers what they wanted and then acted on it.
“The market wanted instant access through the website to our cataloging data. Our customers want to see more visibility of the brand across the media, which is what they will get in the coming months and beyond. And internally, our objective was to remind the market of our remanufacturing and manufacturing expertise, our heritage and impressive range.”

With a minimum of 95 percent European car parc coverage, all Shaftec parts are manufactured or remanufactured to exacting standards and tested to the extreme.
