Partsformachines launches in Ireland

Partsformachines, one of the UK’s leading agriculture and construction industry aftermarket sales platforms, has announced its launch into the Irish market.

The online aftermarket sales platform – which services agriculture and construction as well as general industry – has shown consistent growth since its UK launch in 2021.

The business reached the milestone, in December, of the signing of its 50th supplier partner. One of the key features of the platform has been the opportunity it gives customers to shop, in one place, for a variety of trusted and leading brands in both its parts offer and related aspects of the purchasing and delivery process.

Partsformachines.com managing director and founder, Abhishek Tanwar (pictured below) said: “We have grown our supplier partner programme extensively in the last year. Those who made the initial leap of faith and joined us, blazed a trail at the time, but other brands have come to realise, that we offer a new and potentially lucrative route to market.

“This has meant that both the number of brands and the quantity of parts that each supplier partner brings to the platform has increased exponentially in the last couple of years.”

Four years ago, welding equipment company SIP was the first to sign up, and the number of brands has continued to rise, with other top industry brands joining up – names such as JCB Tools, Shell, Hyundai, Philips and Continental, as well as industry specialists like WAI, Abracs, and Ashtree Vision and Safety.

PartsForMachines claims to have “a very straightforward sales philosophy”, based on four pillars: Easy to Find; Easy to Buy; Great Service and Hassle-free Returns, and having looked at the business and its ongoing needs, the latest area to come under the spotlight is the Customer Engagement function. Not only is this being expanded and enhanced with introduction of engagement tools such as WhatsApp, but PartsForMachines says it is also recruiting a dedicated management team for this part of the business.

“The customer experience has always been at the heart of our business and we recently crossed the milestone of over 400 five-star ratings on Trustpilot. We are also embracing AI to help further enhance the customer journey, helping them find what they need more easily,” added Tanwar. “Obviously, however, we also need to ensure that we are working in the most effective and helpful ways possible with our customers when they don’t have any immediate needs. We want to keep them engaged and help them wherever we can.”
