New vice president aftermarket at Clarios
Clarios, manufacturers of Varta Batteries, has appointed Theres Gosztonyi as vice president aftermarket for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective 1st November.
“We are excited that Theres Gosztonyi is joining our team at Clarios,” said Werner Benade, vice president and general manager EMEA at Clarios. “She brings 18 years of profound management experience in the automotive sector. By appointing her, we aim to strengthen our customer focus and to ensure a sustainable and profitable growth in the region.”
Before Clarios, Gosztonyi acted as vice president B2C aftermarket at the tyre maker Michelin, where she was responsible for Northern Europe including DACH and UK.
Prior to that, she worked more than 15 years in sales and marketing at Daimler AG, most recently as head of sales for Mercedes-Benz Trucks Eastern Europe.
“Together with my team, I will work hard so that Clarios with its Varta brand stays ahead of competition and offers the right products and services for our customers and consumers,” commented Gosztonyi.
