Euro Car Parts Team PR Reilly has made a significant investment into its operations in Dublin, with the opening of a new, purpose-built distribution centre.
Spread across 75,000 sq. ft., the facility provides an even larger stock range and greater availability of parts to branches than before, not just in Dublin but across the country.
The distribution centre offers up to 70,000 product lines from leading aftermarket and original equipment brands, and supplies branches nationwide with overnight parts deliveries, six nights per week.
The Euro Car Parts AutoEducation Academy has also launched in Ireland, offering independent garages access to a technical helpline, diagnostic database and reference library for vehicle trouble shooting, as well as a full calendar of training courses.
Endorsed by the IMI and City & Guilds, AutoEducation Ireland will play an important part in helping garages upskill technicians and maximise revenue as low and zero-emission vehicles become more common.
Awards in hybrid and electric vehicle maintenance are available at levels 2, 3 and 4. All of them cover safety management essentials, before going into various levels of technical detail.
Level 2 is the most popular course and covers routine maintenance activities, Level 3 builds on this to cover system repair and replacement, and Level 4 extends further into diagnostics, testing and advanced repairs.
Signing up for AutoEducation is free, and technicians can complete nine free skills assessments to help them identify which courses to take.
These can be completed and paid for on a one-off basis, or unlimited access for 12 months costs €1,999.
