New air-powered cut-off tool from Laser Tools

Laser Tools has launched its new professional-quality air cut-off tool (part number 7626), which it says is ideal for cutting automotive body panels and removing exhaust pipes and clamps.

The new tool features a three-position flexi-head for access in tight areas, plus the reversible function that ensures that the sparks are directed away from the operator.

Similarly, the exhaust port direction is adjustable so that exhaust air can be directed away. The guard also swivels for optimum positioning plus better visibility. Its contoured tool body allows for comfortable and frequent use, Laser Tools claims.

This new tool also features a safety throttle lever to prevent accidental start-up and the throttle lever’s built-in speed regulator offers easy adjustment for controlled and precise cutting, according to Laser Tools.

It says the position of the throttle can be set to maintain the speed setting for subsequent use.

Taking 75mm cutting discs, the powerful but quiet 0.7hp motor runs at an efficient 3.6cfm (102 litres/min) air consumption, with a free-speed of 16,000 RPM.
