Neaverson appointed FAI commercial director
Parts specialist FAI Automotive has appointed Kevin Neaverson as its new commercial director, covering the UK, Ireland and export customers.
Neaverson has more than 30-years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, including significant commercial experience. He has held similar positions to his new role at Blue Print and most recently at First Line.
FAI says Neaverson’s appointment will ensure the continued support and company progression following managing director Jonathan Alexander’s decision to leave the business. It adds that Neaverson is invested in diversifying the products offered by FAI, as he aims to broaden the markets FAI products are distributed.
“It’s an honour to join the FAI team in what is an exciting time for a well-established brand within our industry,” Neaverson said. “My mission is to cement the relationships of our loyal customer base and pave the way for new business, fuelled by range expansion plans already set in motion by our procurement team.
“I wish Jonathan all the best for the future and look to build upon the foundations laid over the last 20 years. FAI has a rich heritage with over 40 years of experience that many UK customers are aware of, but I intend to spread that message to new regions.
“A large part of my new role will involve travelling to meet clients, as I have done since the first days of my career. I believe that the customer’s voice is of utmost importance, as is the element of face-to-face discussions. Therefore, I look forward to meeting many faces, both old and new, over the coming months.”
