ECS launches used parts collection service

Eurolec Core Supply (ECS) used Auto Trade EXPO 2024 to launch a new service for workshops and motor factors across Ireland, which it says can help them reduce waste, while also putting money back in their pockets.

ECS has been collecting used automotive parts around Ireland for a number of years. Through its newly launched ‘ECS Fill & Collect’ initiative, the company is offering a free recycling bin to workshops and factors, which can be used to dispose of certain motor parts that are no longer needed.

When full, ECS will collect and pay for the parts. Those required include: starter motors, alternators, diesel injectors and pumps, A/C compressors, brake calipers, turbos and EGR valves. ECS also buys engines, gear boxes and bulk surplus parts.

ECS says the service is not only an extra source of income for workshops and factors, but enables the reuse of parts for the remanufacturing industry in an environmentally friendly way.

The service was launched last month at the Auto Trade EXPO in Dublin, where it generated a lot of interest. To obtain a recycling bin, contact Jay Baker on 0044 7930 038245 or email adam@euroleccore.com.
