Axalta appoints Jason Hopkins to drive growth in Ireland
Liquid and powder coatings supplier Axalta has appointed Jason Hopkins to the newly created role of UK and Ireland country manager for Axalta and U-Pol, effective 1st March 2023.
It is the first time that Axalta is bringing together both of these brands under the same management, having acquired U-Pol in 2021.
Hopkins previously spent seven years as the UK sales director for U-Pol, and has an extensive background in sales.
In his new role, Hopkins will report to Redhwan Amine, Axalta’s west and north Europe territory business director for its refinish business, who said Hopkins “is perfectly placed to drive business growth and performance in the UK and Ireland markets”.
Commenting on his new role, Hopkins said: “I am looking forward to ensuring the Axalta Refinish paint brands and the U-Pol brands are the first choice for the refinish industry.
“I have every confidence that by working closely with our distribution partners and our bodyshop end-users, we’ll deliver mutually beneficial and profitable business growth.
“I’m looking forward to meeting as many of our customers as possible as quickly as I can.”
