Autodata showcases new data at Autopromotec

Autodata will showcase the latest raft of significant revisions to its flagship Online product at the Italian automotive aftermarket show, Autopromotec.

This specialised international exhibition for automotive equipment and aftermarket products takes place at the Bologna Exhibition Centre on 22nd – 26th May and is expecting more than 1,500 exhibitors and 100,000 plus trade professionals to visit the five-day event.
This year, the show coincides with a number of major upgrades to Autodata’s flagship Online product, keeping it one step ahead of the competition, including:

• Step-by-step auxiliary drive belt instructions, covering automatic and manual tensioners as well as information for new ‘stretch’ type belts, which need to be fitted correctly to avoid expensive damage to pulleys and other components.
• Winter and summer holiday check sheets, making it easy for workshops to offer free vehicle checks and boost up-selling opportunities.
• Diagnostic trouble codes for air-conditioning.
• Information for cars equipped with stop-start technology.
Unique to Autodata in the automotive technical information market and underlining its product leading position, Autodata will also be showcasing its coverage of Porsche models for the first time. Coverage includes: Diagnostic Trouble Codes, Battery Disconnect, Key Programming, Service Indicators & Schedules, Engine Management, Wiring Diagrams, Pin Data and a first-class Guided Diagnostics feature.

Autodata continues to liaise very closely with OEMs to ensure that the very latest manufacturer-approved technical information is delivered to the fingertips of independent workshops across Europe, allowing them to deliver timely service and repair procedures and excellent customer satisfaction.
